This collective internet- based artwork will challenge the exclusivity of global art industry, by presenting a system of access and free voice to the highest standard.
SKRYNET will provide digital video equipment, video art production training, sustained professional development, and a well curated, promoted online platform for creative expression to prioritised intersectional communities who have experienced exclusion.
SKRYNET provides access in 3 ways;
SKRYNET: An internet based video art platform for content created by the SKRYBABY collective. We will invite guest curators to participate in our running program of content development and presentation.
SKRYTRAIN: Online Forum. Here collaborators will be able to access research, training videos and live chat. Established artists and curators will be invited to provide production tutorials and participate in professional development and opportunity.
SKRYBOX: Selected community centres will receive a SKRYBOX containing digital video production equipment and subject to requirement can access a 5 day DV production course with a lens on video art practise.
